AIR CHIEF LEAVES FOR INDIA

Dhaka, 14 October: – Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc along with spouse and three entourages left Dhaka for India on Saturday, 13-10-2018 on a five-day official visit.

During the visit, Chief of Air Staff will pay homage to the members of Indian Armed Forces who had sacrificed their lives during the Independence War of Bangladesh in 1971 by laying floral wreath at Amar Jawan Jayoti Memorial in Delhi.

Chief of Air Staff will also visit Indian Air Force Headquarters. After arrival at Headquarters, he will be given a Guard of Honour by a smartly turned out Indian Air Force Contingent. He will make a courtesy call on Chief of Indian Air Force including Defence Secretary, Chief of the Army Staff, Vice Chief of the Naval Staff and other military and civil high officials and will discuss on bi-lateral issues.

Besides, Chief of Air Staff will visit Indian Air Force Academy, Aircraft System Testing Establishment, Air Force Test Pilot School, Radar Simulator and Hindustan Aeronautical Limited including other military as well as civil installations and exchange views on professional matters.

It is expected that this visit of Chief of Air Staff will play an important role for strengthening the existing friendly relationship between Air Forces of two countries.
