Dhaka, 08 March: Closing Ceremony of Multinational Communication Interoperability Program (MCIP)  2018, PSW-1 held at Hotel Westin, Dhaka on Thursday (08-3-2018).

Principal Staff Officer, Armed Forces Division, Lieutenant General Md Mahfuzur Rahman and H.E. Ms. Marcia S. Bernicat, Ambassador, US Embassy, Dhaka graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Special Guest respectively. The Honourable guests will deliver their valuable speech and handover certificates to the participants of the workshop.

Multinational Communication Interoperability Program (MCIP) was initiated by United States Pacific Command (USPACOM) which works with Asia-Pacific nations and civilian partners to establish a modern, advanced, reliable and interoperable communication system for assured command, control and cyber operations to support Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief response. The programme brings together allied and partner nation militaries, US agencies, UN entities, NGOs, academia and industry under the context of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief response.

MCIP 2018, Planning Staff Workshop 1 (PSW-1) was conducted from 04-08 March 2018 at Hotel Westin, Dhaka. This Programme has been arranged jointly by USPACOM and Armed Forces of Bangladesh. 36 Participants from 16 friendly countries was attend the workshop.
