Dhaka, December 06:- The certificate award ceremony of No. 61 Flight Safety Officers’ Course of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Flight Safety Institute (FSI) of BAF Base Bashar  on Thursday (06-12-2018). Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal M Sanaul Huq, BBP, OSP, GUP, ndc, acsc, psc attended the ceremony as Chief Guest and distributed certificates among the trainee officers. Squadron Leader Muhammad Fayyaz Ahmed Qamar, GD(P) of Pakistan Air Force received the “Chief of Air Staff’s Trophy” for his best performance in the course.


The Chief Guest congratulated Officer Commanding of Flight Safety Institute and the trainee officers for successful completion of training. In his speech, the Chief Guest said, “I am confident that you all are now well prepared in promoting better safety culture in your respective organizations”.


Earlier, in the welcome address, Officer Commanding of the Institute Group Captain Md Enamul Haque, GUP, aowc, psc gave a brief resume on the course curriculum. A total of 20 trainee officers where 08 from Bangladesh Air Force, one each from Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Indian Air Force, Pakistan Air Force, Royal Malaysian Air Force, United States Air Force, 04 officers from Royal Jordanian Air Force and 02 officers from Sri Lankan Air Force attended the course.


Amongst others, senior BAF Officers and Diplomats were also present on the occasion.
